Today while glancing in to the Thesaurus, I came across a word which meant something like a Priest, a Vicar, a Minister, and so on. For a moment, I wondered how can there be a single word with so many holy and powerful or in terms influential meanings... But, it's true.. The word is 'FATHER'...
My Father has been my idol, ever since I knew. I always wanted to be someone like him and continue to be just that, not only for his excellent management skill or the talent or for all the good reputation earned by him throughout his life but also for his love towards us, for his self-made image, his humanity, his compassion and his dedication to the family and the work. Despite of being busy in the work whole day, he could manage to take out the quality time to spend with the family, to check his kids’ schoolworks.

He never tried imposing his decisions on anyone of us children. That's what has been the chief cause of us being what we are today. He always wanted me to be a Lawyer, but I turned out to be an engineering brain and preferred developing my career in the software field.
Today, I am happy with my career. It has all been possible because of all his and Mom's positive and supportive approach towards me and my career.
A father means the world to his Child... So is my Paapa, to me.The one-looking at whome I started learning the things, the one- who found the uttermost joy in the each my small childhood activities, and above all, the one- who is the biggest factor behind my existance, a reason for me being here... And, thus is my world... That’s why may be, whenever a person discovers something new, he is said to be "the father" of that discovery.

At the end, a story told to me by Didi (elder sister), during my early childhood. It was something like this...
Long, long ago, there lived a boy with his father in a small town. He was the only child of his father. One day, a beautiful looking girl comes to his town. The boy falls in Love with her and asks her for marriage. The girl replys by saying that, the boy should assure her first that he really loves her and would do anything for her. She asks him to bring the Heart of his own father and prove the deapth of his love. The guy agrees to do so. The same night he does so... While bringing the heart to the girl, the boy stumbles over a rock and falls down. On which the heart in his hand asks, "Are you hurt, son? Be careful!!"...
The Moral is, we may do the worst to him, the one who loves us the most... Even then, he will be the one who cares for us the most... The saddest part is that, children do not understand the value of their parents... feel comfortable in keeping them away, sending them to the old-age homes, not even bothering to see them for days.
On this Father’s day, I urge you all to not to let you father suffer from
this pain. As they say, old age is the artwork of years. Let’s appreciate the
nature’s work and bring the best of the world to our Fathers.
For my Paa, I just want to say that you are a truly special person and I am so privilleged to have you as my mentor. It's an honour to be born as you daughter :) yes...I am truly proud of it !! As you say, “There always are tough times in life… but a true confidence, the inner strength to overcome and a positive approach to life when you are done through it, are the best of the things you earn from it.”
May all the tough times be wiped out from your life soon, Paa...May you live llllllong... and your children be able to bring all the happiness and the joy to you and Mom in the life..
Enjoy your special day! Luv you a lottt...
HAPPY FATHER’S DAY!!
